Dear friends,

You are kindly invited to the XVth meeting of the AFC-BVAC/ABCA to be held in Paris, from 26 to 28 October 2011 at the "Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris".

This year, in addition to the usual sessions of the AFC-BVAC/ABCA meetings, a workshop will be dedicated to the laboratory technicians and managers who will have the opportunity to present their daily cytometry issues and headaches. A session on animal biology as well as industrial and environmental microbiology is also planned. Finally, an important part of this meeting will be devoted to stem cells, a booming theme.

For the first time, adjacent to the meeting, practical workshops will take place in various Parisian sites: microparticles, immuno-haematology, compensation and good cytometry practices, cellular cycle, cellular imaging, rare events sorting, software use. As it is a tradition at the AFC, grants will be allocated to students and two « young investigator prizes » will be awarded.

Our industrial partners will be present during these three days and some of them will offer animations on their stands. We also wish to highlight your work with numerous posters and oral communications.
