Banks, currency exchange and credit cards

Currency in France is the Euro.
Bank hours are normally 9:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday. Hotels may exchange money at other times.
Cash machines are available across the city.
Visa and Mastercard are the most used credit cards in France. American Express is not accepted everywhere.

Invitation letter

Delegates requiring an invitation letter for visa applications to attend the meeting should email the Conference Administrative Secretariat.
Please note that this will be provided only once personal information has been received (first name, last name, address and professional organization).

Passport / visa

A valid passport is required for entry into France. Please check with your local consulate for specific details of visa requirement from your country.

Electricity power supply

Electricity is 220 V

Smoking

Smoking is banned in all enclosed public places in France, including restaurants and bars.

Taxes

Hotel room tax with State tax is 19.6% for France and food and beverage inside a hotel is taxed at 5.5%. The majority of purchases are subject to State tax of 19.6%.

Disabled Facilities

If you require disability specific facilities, please notify your needs on the Registration Form.

Liability

The Organizing Committee and/or Conference Organizer shall not be held liable for personal accidents, losses or damage to private property of registered delegates of the meeting. Delegates should make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance.
