Monitoring antibiotic effects on bacteria at the cellular level
The anti-infectious efficiency of a drug is a combination of its capacity to enter in the bacteria, to not be expelled out of the cell, to its affinity for its target, and its local concentration. In this session will be presented the bacterial response mechanisms at the scale of the whole cell, studied using different approaches (imaging, cytometry, swarming,…).
