How studying antimicrobial modes of action and resistance raises fundamental questions in microbiology and the other way round

The study of antimicrobial modes of action and resistance mechanisms directly interrogates fundamental processes of microbial cell biology. This session aims to explore these interactions addressing these questions at the molecular, cellular, and evolutionary levels, and encourages studies linking mechanistic insights with core microbiological concepts.
