One health

The "One Health" session of Environmental Microbiology aims to address all aspects linking microorganisms to human, animal, and environmental health. This includes mechanisms shared across all living systems that facilitate the transfer of microorganisms, for example, from humans to animals in the case of zoonoses. It also includes those that, conversely, enable comprehensive control over microorganisms, such as innate immunity.
