Pre-Conference 2
2. Best practices for generating high-quality data in cytometry
Co-facilitators: Anne-Laure Iscache (Infinity, Toulouse, France) & Gaëtan Riou (Field Application Specialist, Sony Biotechnology)
Learning Objectives:
This workshop aims to share best practices for generating high-quality flow cytometry data using conventional and spectral instruments.
In this course, you will:
- Understand how to evaluate the impact of your instrument configuration and your instrument settings on spread and resolution;
- Learn how standardization controls variation over time and across platforms;
- Discover practical strategies to optimize your immunostaining: titration, sequential staining, buffers;
- Gain practical insights into using single-stained controls effectively in conventional and spectral flow cytometry. Review common errors;
- Explore how Autofluorescence Management can enhance data resolution;
- Gain a deeper understanding of the importance of proper data cleaning workflow for advanced analysis.
Who should attend: Intended for flow cytometry users working with multicolor or spectral panels. Researchers, core facility staff, and scientists interested in optimizing and maintaining high-quality data in conventional and spectral flow cytometry workflows.
Participant Prerequisites: Basic and practical knowledge of conventional and spectral flow cytometry.
Practical details: The workshop will be conducted in English.
