RVV 2027

Dear friends and colleagues,

The workshop ‘Les Rencontres de Virologie Végétale (RVV)’ has been held every two years since 1987. It gathers all scientists in this field from France (PhDs, teachers, technicians, engineers, and researchers from private and public organisations), and scientists from abroad. Thanks to the participation of around 150 attendees, this workshop provides an overview of the state of the art and future research in plant virology.

The workshop covers a wide variety of timely questions and approaches in plant virology. Moreover, guest researchers specialists of animal or environmental virology, or even non-virologist prominent scientists, are invited to present major advances in their field.

RVV combines scientific excellence and conviviality. It is an excellent opportunity for the exchange of ideas between scientists. In particular, this workshop favours the networking between young researchers and experts in the field, and has been the source of many successful collaborations between different labs (molecular biologists, geneticists, entomologists, epidemiologists, …).

The Organizing Committee is delighted and looking forward to welcoming you to the Paul-Langevin Center in Aussois from January 17 to 21, 2027 for the 21^st edition of the RVV.
