Visa Information for Vietnam
VISA PROCEDURE
Visitors to Vietnam must obtain a Vietnam visa from either one of Vietnam Embassies or a Consulate office worldwide or on arrival, unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries. All visitors must hold a passport valid at least for 6 months.
Visa exempt countries
Most nationalities require a visa to enter Vietnam. Exceptions are:
- Citizens of the following countries may enter Vietnam for 30 days without a visa: Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, Cambodia
- Citizens of the Philippines may enter Vietnam for 21 days without a visa.
- Citizens of the following countries may enter Vietnam for 15 days without a visa: Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Britain, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Korea (republic), Belarus, and Russia.
Apart from these above exemptions, visitors must have Vietnam visa before entering Vietnam.

Please know that visa application may take time, and that you must therefore proceed to your application as soon as possible before the congress.
