Welcome to the XVII International Congress of Acarology

We are delighted to announce that the XVII International Congress of Acarology will take place in Montpellier, France, from July 20 to 24, 2026.

The International congress of Acarology is always a great opportunity to share our research on the fascinating world of mites and to connect with the global acarology community. It also enables us to contribute to the advancement and international visibility of both Acarology and Acarologists.

The theme of the XVII Congress is:
‘Navigating the Future of Acarology: Honoring Tradition, Advancing Knowledge.’

Amidst ongoing global ecological and socio-economic crises, it is more crucial than ever to share knowledge from both the past and the present—not only to understand our current challenges but also to plan and drive future scientific and societal advances. Acarology has an important voice to contribute and a meaningful role to play. We hope this congress will provide a valuable space for that purpose, bringing together colleagues working in the most diverse fields from all over the world!

Stay tuned!!! Information about registration, as well as calls for oral and poster presentations, and image concours will be shared with you very soon!
