1^st Gary Bauchan Acari Photo & Illustration Competition

With the aim of recognizing and promoting the photographic and scientific illustration work of acarologists, the XVII International Congress of Acarology organized the 1^st Gary Bauchan Photo and Illustration Competition (see details here).
ICA participants are invited to select their favorite photographs and illustrations from the eligible competition entries presented here. Each participant will receive an email containing a link and instructions for casting their vote.

Images should be evaluated based on their technical quality (focus, clarity, exposure, and contrast), composition, and effectiveness in conveying Acari diversity, morphology, and/or behavior.

Please choose your three favorite works in each category: macrophotography, micrography, and scientific illustration. Authors may not vote in categories in which they have submitted entries.
