  PRIMATOLOGISTS FROM OUTSIDE EUROPE

FUNDING STRATEGY

• Grants will not be paid directly to the awardees.
• The EFP will cover the registration fees, accommodation, and flight tickets for the beneficiaries, up to a maximum of € 1.500 (any excess may be discussed), and will handle the bookings.
• Reimbursement upon receipt may also be considered for awardees who wish to make their own bookings.

PROCESS AND TIMELINE

• Opening of applications: December 10^th, 2025.
• Deadline: January 15^th, 2026.
• Decision of the organizing committee: January 21^st, 2026.
• Selected candidates will need to provide EFP with the necessary information so that flight bookings can be made immediately.
• Once flights are booked, awardees will have 7 days to schedule an appointment and submit their visa application to the relevant authorities.

Failure to meet these deadlines may result in cancellation of the grant (except in special cases related to local administrative constraints).

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Grants are reserved for candidates submitting an oral presentation (regular talk) for the conference. IT IS MANDATORY TO SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT TO APPLY (with proof of submission).
• Good news: the EFP scientific committee will automatically accept all submitted abstracts (although submissions requesting an oral presentation may be redirected to a poster).
